Introduction: Altrin is a unique herbal preparation effective in increasing resistance against high altitude sickness and allergy. It is also effective in respiratory problems, nausea and vomiting. .

Action : Curcuma longa and A.lebbeck show antihistaminic properties in the break down of the cell which is the main cause of Histamin secretion, and thus causing antiinflammatory and antispsamodic effects in the bronchus and broncheol. Abies spectabilis & Solanum xanthocarpum are expectorant. Oil of Curcuma longa also shows antibacteocidal as well as bacteriostatic property.

Indication : Altitude sickness (i.e. respiratory problems and the like), dyspnoea, allergy, nausea, palpitation, asthma due to allergy, common cold and other allergic conditions.

Adverse effect : None.

Contra indication : None.

Doses & administration : Two tablets three times a day.
